Fun morning of bottom fishing and snorkeling resulted with a massive cornet fish catch! The prior state record was 7.8 lbs and 4 ft 11in caught on Hawaii Island. I think we have it beat with a length of roughly 5 ft 6 in. No weight was recorded and the massive cornet fish was released back to the reef. Who knows, but maybe we'll cross paths again soon!
