Third time's a charm!! We had an absolute blast hosting a family who recently joined us on 3 separate days out with us!! They were able to enjoy both The VENTURE Boat, and the MANAKAHI as well - MANA Cruises' flagship Leopard Sailing cat.
Day One: A Thrilling Start
Our journey began with the adventurous family aboard The VENTURE Boat, where the excitement was just as vibrant as the clear blue waters of West Oahu. The family, including their enthusiastic five-year-old son, were thrilled to reel in a colorful trigger fish and a sleek skipjack tuna. Their successful catches set a jubilant tone for the day, and the smiles were as wide as the ocean horizon. The little boy was so fascinated with the wildlife and was fearless when witnessing the fight with the Skip Jack Tuna!
Day Two: Underwater Wonders on The MANAKAHI
Eager for more, the family joined us two days later on The MANAKAHI for a snorkeling & sailing trip that was nothing short of magical. They plunged into the inviting waters and were greeted by a kaleidoscope of marine life. Swimming alongside vibrant coral reefs, and a huge Green Sea Turtle, they encountered an array of tropical fish that dazzled with their colors and grace. It was a peaceful contrast to the previous day's high-energy fishing.
Day Three: Venturing Further for Spectacular Sights
Not ready to end their oceanic exploration, the family embarked on another excursion aboard The VENTURE Boat. This time, we ventured further to the pristine waters near Makaha Valley and had a private snorkel session at Makaha Caverns. Makaha Caverns features swim throughs, cavernous reef structures, and Honu (turtles) that nap in some of the reef structures. The highlight was undoubtedly the pod of spotted dolphins that graced us with their presence. Watching the dolphins glide elegantly through the water, while also jumping out of the water to perform some acrobatics in the air, the family was captivated by the beauty and serenity of these magnificent creatures.
A Bond Strengthened by the Sea
Over these three days, the sea not only offered its treasures but also strengthened the bond between the family. Each trip brought new wonders, from the thrill of the catch to the serenity of the underwater world, culminating in the graceful dance of dolphins. Their joy was a reminder of why we cherish these experiences and strive to share them with every guest.
